First home match of 2019 saw Rovers mixed team ready to seek revenge against always friendly but tough opposition in the form of Apollo BC.
With Mary already filling in Team Captain Jo Lee was already handed a blow when she had 2 late withdrawals on the day but super subs Rob and Kurt came to her aid! A very close match hinged on one match where rovers had a match point but in the end Apollo just edged it 4-5 on the night to the away team.
Well done on Kurt making his league debut and hope it will wet his appetite for future games to come. Although it was a loss the mixed team are making much progress on their nervy start to the season and look forward to a lot more close games which hopefully fall on Rovers side! Well done mixed team and the super subs!
