Charity Special !

A successful end of season club tournament held tonight. Some very close games and every pair won at least one game through the course of the tournament. Group B proved to be the strongest group with all 4 pairings winning their quarter final matches. All 4 quarter finals were won by only 2-4 points. The semi finals saw Jo and Ross beat Eris and Jayne by 21 points to 17 and Julian and Simon beat Alisha and Dan L 21-18. In the final group winners Julian and Simon who had previously beaten Jo and Ross 21-17 were full of confidence despite Simon's troublesome leg injury! The final was close all the way throughout and in the end it was Jo and Ross who triumphed 21-17. We also raised a nice £95 for the Kent based charity holding on letting go which helps children deal with the loss of close family members. Thanks to everyone who took part.
